Let’s Dive into Benjamin Moore’s Decorator’s White
I have to admit, I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for this white! While it’s not typically our go-to for exteriors, except maybe for trim (we’ve only dabbled with it twice on brick), it certainly holds its own in interior spaces. Fun fact: our office is color-blocked with our logo colors, and the white we settled on? You guessed it, BM Decorator’s White.
What’s so special about it, you ask?
Well, for starters, it’s a crisp white with no sneaky undertones. Decorators white is leaning towards a cool tone with a hint of gray underneath. That means no pesky yellow peeking through, making it a dream if you are looking for a modern vibe. You can also also use it on your exterior trim work or painted brick, and cabinetry. Plus, its neutral white opening the door to a myriad of color pairings. A couple colors that will work with decorators white are BM Black Tar 2126-10, BM Cape May Cobblestone 1474, or even my personal favorite for front doors, BM Denim Wash 838.
if you’re wanting a softer white
So, If you are looking for a soft white, Benjamin Moore’s Decorators White might not be your best bet. If you are looking for something “softer” I’d steer you towards something like Benjamin Moore’s Moonlight White OC-125. But if you’re aiming for a white that sets the stage for a vibrant, colorful space, then Decorator’s White is your winning ticket!
